Norma Nieves Rivera is a 10th Grader here at Rocktown Highschool. This is her second year in Newspaper Journalism. Last year she joined because she went to an event where she could see what electives to join in High school and then got introduced to newspaper journalism. Journalism would be something she wanted to major in since before she joined she always enjoyed talking to people, photography, and writing. One of Norma’s hobbies was always photography since her family owned a camera. She would take pictures for events. Up until this year she invested into her own cameras, learning how to take better pictures and making her settings better. This class is very important because it can lead to a lot of other jobs like being a news reporter and photographer separately. In the near future Norma hopes to become better at this class since it’s one of her favourite classes at school.
