Junior Santana Perry is the son of the vice principal of RHS. Perry expresses how he feels about his parent working in the same school as him.
“It feels cool to have my dad work in the same school I go to. It definitely has its perks,” Perry said. “I don’t think I feel like an outsider. I feel like I’m treated the same and most people are cool with my dad.”
Perry also includes how he has advantages at the school, and his enjoyment of going to the same school as his father.
“I think I do have some advantages, like if I’m late to class I could stop by his office and get a pass,” Perry said. “I don’t wish my dad worked for a different school, I can get helped when need. If he wasn’t here it would be more stressful.”
Junior Ben Livick talks about his dad working in the same school system as him.
“You don’t really notice after a while,” Livick said.
Livicks responds to his advantages of having his dad in the school.
“I can get stuff printed during the when I need it. I don’t really use him for anything in school,” Livick said
Sophomore Camden Whitelow opinion on having a parent work in the same highschool as you.
“I mean it really doesn’t have it’s cons to it, mainly pros. It doesn’t really affect anything like education nor socially.
Whitelow expresses that there are some advantages to it.
“Honestly yeah you know I can get into what I want to do, like for example BSU, and she also keeps me updated on latest news,” Whitlow says.
